Andrés Peña Páez is an operations, change, and management advisor with more than fifteen years of experience helping organizations strengthen execution, navigate change, and build the operational and administrative structures that allow teams to focus on creating value and growing sustainably.
He founded Brass Bits, LLC to support organizations that are ready to grow but lack the internal structure, clarity, or follow-through needed to do so effectively. Through Brass Bits, Andrés works alongside leaders and teams to align strategy with day-to-day operations, improve accountability, and create systems that support long-term stability without adding unnecessary complexity.
Andrés has worked successfully in both Colombia and the United States, supporting clients across a wide range of industries including sustainability, healthcare, professional services, creative industries, and public-interest organizations. His experience spans organizations of all sizes, from small teams to large institutions, and includes extensive work with multicultural teams and diverse communities.
Throughout his career, Andrés has specialized in organizational change and operational alignment, helping teams adapt to new strategies, systems, and expectations while maintaining trust and continuity. His work often focuses on strengthening governance, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and designing accountability structures that improve follow-through and reduce operational friction.
Prior to founding Brass Bits, Andrés served as Director of Operations at LifeCity, L3C in New Orleans, where he led operations, strategic planning, and administrative and financial functions in support of growth and client delivery. Earlier in his career, he held senior consulting and leadership roles in Colombia, managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and leading implementation efforts across healthcare and institutional settings.
Andrés brings a multicultural and international perspective to his work, shaped by years of experience working across countries, sectors, and organizational cultures. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is known for his practical, human-centered approach to building clarity and momentum in complex environments.
He holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, as well as a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from Tulane University.
